Data element/component type for +/- indicator

I am looking for a data element, or a component type, that will hold a + or a - I realize that I could create one and that it is only a one character field but I would like to use one that already exists. I am creating a structure and need to include this. A consultant that I am working with told me to use ALCKZ but that doesn't exist.

Davis

Hi,

You can create a custom domain (SE11) and check the sign option under output characteristic section in order to capture +/- sign.

Also check data element ACC_SIGN.

Rob, thanks. I didn't know how to search for it.

I searched for one character data elements with the string 'ign' in the description. Something with '(+/-)' was on the first page.

Rob, I didn't even see the search button at first. I have never run into this (having to search) before. Thanks a lot for the tip!
