Control indicators for control area xxxx do not exist

Former Member

Hello gurus,

I am using BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2. When I try to run it in the debugger I receive an error that says Control indicators for control area 2000 do not exist.

What does it mean and how can I get rid of this problem?

Thank you.

Rahul

Andreas,

Thank you. What do I look for in Control Areas. I selected the controlling area 2000 (CO N. america). Then I clicked Activate Components. Here are the settings

Cost Centers - Component Active

AA: Activity Type - Checked

Order Management - Component active

Commit Management - Component Active

ProfitAnalysis - Component active for costing-based Profitability analysis

Acty-Based Costing - Component Active for Parallel and Integrated Calculation

Profit Center - Checked

Projects - Checked

Sales Orders - Was checked but I unchecked it

W. Commit Mgt - Checked

Cost Objects - Checked

Real Estate Mgmt - Checked

Variance - Checked

Later I found that when I changed the Sold To Party, I was able to create the Sales Order. The problem occurred with a test customer. Maybe we didn't provide enough information on the test customer.
