I have a BTP Trial Account that I am attempting to connect to an On-Premise ABAP system using the Cloud Connector. I have installed and configured the Cloud Connector in my On-Premise NW AS ABAP 7.51 system and the availability check in the Cloud Connector using the RFC protocol shows that my BTP Trial Account is reachable. From the BTP trial account the exposed back-end system with the RFC protocol show available. I configured the destination of the On-Premise system including the additional properties and I checked the connection and it shows that the connection check was successful. However after I added a RFC in the cloud connector as a resourse and attempted to access it from a class from the ABAP Environment in the BTP, I get an error that the destination is now found. I debugged the code and it appears to be coming from the cl_rfc_destination_provider=>create_by_cloud_destination method call using the destination name.
I read somewhere that you cannot use BTP Trial account to perform a RFC call from the ABAP Environment to the On-Premise system. Is this still true or am I missing something.
Thanks,
Gregg

Actually the answer is -- SAP BTP trail it will not work only for SAP BTP paid accounts so hope it is clear why it is not working I found out from Julie Plummer Github link where it is mentioned in prerequistes section
I did read the link and did not bookmark it to post the link aorry but can confirm for trial accounts the above steps do not work Hope this helps fellow community members
