CJI3 - Call transaction

Former Member

Hello SAP Guru's,

We have a Z report which calls the transaction CJI3 via BDC. The output is a report. But the output is a list display. If the transaction CJI3 is run in another session with a Project, the report is shown in Grid display. My question is how do I get this Grid display?

In my Z program all we do is some processing and call the tcode CJI3 via BDC.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

We usually change from LIST to GRID display by clicking Settings > User Parameter > ALV Grid Display.

Maybe you can simulate that in the BDC.

I know this is an old thread, but I ran across the same issue now that we are upgrading to 6.0. The reason is REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY now checks if the transaction is run with batch input (sy-binpt). If so, it forces list display. No resolution that I've seen yet, but I thought I'd reply just in case you found a work around in the last few years
