Changing Title to SAP standard Screen

Hi All,

How to change title of standrad screens...?????

<b>To change the title of the standard SAP screen, follow these steps:</b>

1.Execute transaction SE63

2.Follow the menu path -->translation -->shorttext -->transactions

3.Enter the transaction code and press EDIT. (check whether the target language is set to ENGLISH)

4.You will get the existing title on the first line. In the second line, you can edit that title.

5.Now click on SAVE to save the changes

6.Now execute that transaction to check the change in the title

You can't change the title of Standard screens. However, you can copy a standard screen to user developed screen and make the necessary modifications.

If you want to change the title of a Standard Screen, you'll be asked for a access key. If you accessed to make the necessary changes, then you may go ahead.

I did the same thing as explained in your replies....

In SE63, in the Transaction screen, i have entered Object Name as "AS03".

The source language is DE.

The Target language is EN.

When i click Edit button, i am facing a error message...

"Source Language Invalied"...

What to do now...?????

Hi,

Go to transaction SE63->translation>short texts>abap->program texts

Give Standard program name in program name.

Click on 'Environment' Button.

give source lan & target lan as 'EN'.

Click on 'COPY'.

now screen appear with u r standrad program name

now go to userinterface in that and

double click on u r standard program.

There u can change u r standrad text as u want.

it will shurely help you.
