Hi Friends,

In the TA se09, how can i change the

transport layer.

What i mean here is:

whenever you display a Request in se09, then under the

workbench, you see a target group.

I want to change that target group.

How can i do that?

Thanks,

Rohit.

Hi Rohit,

If the request is still in "modifiable" status, you should be able to change the entry in the "Target System/Group" field.

Make sure you are in the list users who can change the request and then come in change mode.

If the request is released then these things cannot be done.

Thanks,

Renjith.

Hi Rohit,

Transport target of a request

The transport target specifies where a transport request is imported.

Use

There are three ways to define transport targets. They differ in syntax and function.

Syntax Example Explanation

1. <SYS> C11 Target system

2. <SYS>.<CLI> C11.021 Target system and client

3. /<Group name>/ /EUROPE/ Target group

The second and third options can only be used when extended transport control has been activated.

For transport targets without a specified target client (first option), the client into which the client-specific objects are to be imported is only determined at the time of import by the system administrator.

However, if the target client is already defined in the transport target, the system administrator no longer has to make this decision.

Hi,

I hope You need to delete and assign the project

inorder change the target group.

Here is the menu path to delete/assign the project.

Utilities -> Reorganize -> Assign to a project.../

Delete project assignment.

I hope this helps you.

Regards,

Gopi.
