Change standard text message

Hi.

May I change the text message to another text that I want?

The text of message V1 170, 171, 172 and 172 are poor in information and we would like to change them.

Is it possible by some Exit or may I set this in any place?

I would not recommend that. Changing the standard message will impact every place it has been used. Where are you getting these errors? If the errors are custom then change them by throwing errors from custom message class.

Hi Shravan. Thanks for your attention.

I get these messages in credit verification, when save the sales order.

We need to take a quick decision in accordance with each message. The text confuses our operators, which are many and are in real time with customers.

Unless they are from a user exit in the sales order, I don't think there is a lot you can do about these.

Are you not able to change it in SE91? You can also change he long text.

Post any problems you might be facing.
