change email subject and body content for mail generated in background job

hello gurus

the request we got is the following:

we generate a list from transaction IW39 with a background job and this list is being sent to a distribution list.

the requirement would be to be able to change the subject of the mail and the message in the body.

I know that in a standard way this is not possible (we are in ECC) but how do we achieve this with development?

Hi Alisa,

Please see OSS note 1101211 regarding the derivation of the email subject. There does not appear to be any option to influence the message body, however.
