Can we add third party Digital Signatures in .txt file

Dear all,

    1:  I want your expert advice on whether we can add third party digital signatures to .txt file. If yes then how??

     I have tried using the SAP digital signature tool for this but I think in that case we can only apply digital signature created by us and not by third party CA.

Please help!!!!!

i heard digital signature used in .pdf file. Never saw in .txt file.

If that won't work, there is always an add on software you can use that is not SAP based.
