I donot know in which version of SAP u r working. But from 6.10 onwards u can create data element as string. So u can store the whole text file as string in the database.

Joy.

Hi,

you want to save the content of the doc file to be in the ztable.

If this is your question then offcourse you can do it.......by populating the data internal table and then execute the insert statement in the ztable.

Hi Priyank Dixit,

U can not save the .txt file(Eg Resume) on database...

What you can do is... U can store the file on applicaion server...

and u can access the file using FTP

also have a look on below Tcodes,

CG3Z ==> To upload files to application server ( eg. Resume.txt or Resume.doc )

Note : here by default it will show .DAT file in file type... chage it to All Files...

CG3Y ==> To download files from application server

Remember the path while saving a path on application server...

Then u can view the file in application server using AL11 Tcode

Hope it will solve your problem..

Thanks & Regards

hi first put it into the internal table and loop the internal table..

like this..

loop at itab.

ztable-field1 = itab-field1 .

ztable-field2 = itab-field2 .

insert ztable .

endloop.

Hi,

ECC 6.0 runs on basis release 6.4, and string can use as data element from basis rel. 6.10 onwards.

So u can create a data element as string in ECC 6.0.

Joy.
