BOPFs generated from CDS - is it possible to switch to other buffer?

We are using BOPFs in mass create/update scenarios.

In /BOBF/CONF_UI I see that we are using /BOBF/CL_BUF_SIMPLE Buffer. I can only open /BOBF/CONF_UI in Display mode, as my bopf is generated from CDS View.

Is it possible to set other buffer, like /BOBF/CL_BUF_NON_CACHING, in some other way, for BOPFs generated from CDS View?

it is not possible to change the buffer implementation for CDS-based BOPF Business Objects.

Why ? It should improve performance in mass scenarios.
