bgRFC Unit is stuck eventthough no failed/duimp happened.

Hi Expert,

I am using bgRFC to run the function module in background.

But i am facing the issue that all the quue belongs to destination is stuck event there are no failure happened. It just run and stuck right there.

I've checked in SMGW and there are no process is running ..

Could you please advice how can we overcome this situation?

Hi All, 

The issue has been fixed. Please find some potential solutions below: 

 - Make sure the destination & credential maintain in SBGRFCCONF is correct. (perform connection test in SM59 for that Destination)

 - Make sure below SAP Notes has installed:

https://me.sap.com/notes/2772500 

 - Check following below SAP Note 

https://me.sap.com/notes/3253640/E 

There are hundreds of incoming and outgoing HTTP connections and the connection limit (icm/max_conn) is sporadically reached: Transaction SMICM shows hundreds of connections and the traces show multiple snapshots for "Max ICM Connections reached". 

In addition there are H2 (HTTP/2) client connections that are not closed although they are open for more than a day.
