BAPI_ACC_ACTIVITY_ALLOC_POST: problem with DOCDATE and POSTGDATE

Hello,

Filling of DOCDATE and POSTGDATE is optional for BAPI_ACC_ACTIVITY_ALLOC_POST. With empty fields the current date will be added.

Our problem: We have entered specific dates for DOCDATE and POSTGATE but after posting in SAP we see DOCDATE = POSTGDATE = current date and not the specific dates which we had entered.

Why is it not working?

• Are there any substitution active in your system
• Did you try to execute the BAPI with the ignore warnings flag not set
• Any W or S message available in RETURN table

Since we found out today that the problem did not occur with all but only with some postings, I'm sure we will be able to fix it.
