Hi,

I am trying to establish RFC connection from 4.6c to ecc 6.0 R/3.

(1) I had created RFC connection and enter all the required parameters

(2) Test Connection is successful also it is possible to do remote logon.

(3) but in menu TEST->Authorization is failed.

(4) I had check with Authorization I have SAP_ALL in both system.

Please suggest me solution.

Regards,

Abhijit

Hi Abhijjit,

If the test connection and remote logon are working fine, then no need to worry.

You can use this RFC connection without any changes.

Atish

Hi Atish,

Problem is that even RFC test connection & remote logon is successful.

In BD64 if i try to distribute the system it is showing the error "Communication error occurred Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)" .

which is same error as when i try to do it in SM59 Test->Authorization .

any suggestion

Abhijit.

Hi Abhijit,

That means your remote logon test was not successful.

What happens when you click on remote logn button?

Hi Atish,

when i click on remote logon button it will give me logon screen pop up where i have to enter the user name(by default) & password.

Abhijit.

Hi Abhijit,

that means the test is failed.

Just go into your RFC connection in SM59 and see what is the user name and once again right the password for the same and save your RFC.

The remote logon connection is successful when you will not see anything on the screen (i.e. no logon window).

Reward all useful answers.
