Hi,

I am trying to establish RFC connection from 4.6c to ecc 6.0 R/3.

(1) I had created RFC connection and enter all the required parameters

(2) Test Connection is successful also it is possible to do remote logon.

(3) but in menu TEST->Authorization is failed.

(4) I had check with Authorization I have SAP_ALL in both system.

Please suggest me solution.

Regards,

Abhijit

Hi Adhijit,

Unfortunately SM59 on 4.6c stores the passwords in Uppercase. This isn't an issue until you start doing authorisation connection tests to system that are 6.20 or higher (eg ECC 6).

6.x and 7.x system use case sensitive passwords, thus if the password in your ECC system for your RFC destination is not uppercase the test will fail.

Cheers

Shaun

Hi

Itb appears that you don't have the correct authrization to execute the RFC connection.

Check with your Basis person abou this authorization and check.
