AS ABAP 7.52. SP04 on an VM with Debian arm/64

I would like to use the ABAP trial Developer on a VM, as the host system is a M1Max MacBook. Due to the host architecture the guest is an ARM/64 architecture.

My question: can ABAP trial run like this, or do I need to interpose Quemu or similar (which option)?

From my experience it is necessary to have a VM solution, which can emulate a x86 architecture. For instance the UTM virtual solution.

But what I also experienced is, that this is not the most performant thing.

Maybe others have better suggestions.

thanks for your answer. Maybe is the UTM virtual a solution, because it's integrated Quemu.

Do yourself a favor and use x86 cpu.
