ALV Grid Display

Hi,

Iam using ALV grid display and trying to change the report layout. When I click the change layout Iam able to see the save icon , even the functional owner can see the save icon from his sytem but the end user cant see the save icon in change layout.

I was using i_save = 'X' in ALV grid display. But the problem is we can see the save icon where as the user cant see it. Is it related to security issue or do we need to do any settings in report or profiles.

Hi,

try to set the parameters in user-profile for

SD_VARIANT_MAINTAIN with value 'A'.

Hi,

I tried the variant in Profile setting but still unable to see the SAVE ICON in Change Layout.

After the ALV report is displayed Goto Menu:

Settings->Layout->Change

The save icon should appear in the Change Layout box.

May be he is missing this authorization S_ALV_LAYO

check it once.

ask him to Run SU53 and see..
