alternative to SM62 to display events? (because hesitant to adjust SU24)

I have a team that wants SM62 in PRD, but in SU24 this txn is tied to S_BTCH_ADM=Y. I don't want to give this auth in PRD and also I am reluctant to change SU24 because this team is small and does not represent a "default" usage of SM62. I mean, normally people who use SM62 should be able to Maintain events, so I think SAP's SU24 default setting is proper. Does anyone know of a report of alternate txn that can show events and event history? I've searched tstct but nothing is obvious. Otherwise I guess I will reluctantly give them S_BTCH_ADM=Y.

You have 3 options:

- Change SU24 and maintain the proposal in the roles.

- Leave Su24 and choose the option *inactive status" in the affected roles not needing it and remove the SE93 entry.

- Use a different transaction.

I would also search TSTCP and go for option 3 (but check the drop down menus).

ps: Adjusting Su24 will not work. Try and you will see that BC and HR classes cannot be deactivated with "No check". this check is also in TSTCA already.
