ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE can't work at ITS Login ( web)

ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE FM can work use SAPGUI login , but use ITS login( WEB ) login , the ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE FM can't not work , please help .

It is because the function module uses OLE automation. In simple words, in opens an excel instance at the background, read the file content and transfer that to SAP GUI, and then from SAP GUI to SAP system.

As SAP GUI is a client program installed, it can use the Excel OLE Objects. This is not possible for browsers to automate Excel, otherwise your browsers can control your system through OLE automations (security threat).

Therefore the FM cannot be used by WEB GUI. FYI.
