Hi

I am lukiing for a entry in AL11..While viewing that i am getting first two rows occupied by . and .. Under file name column..is there is any specific notation available for this???

The "." and ".." are just standard "navigation" directory entries in Unix and DOS... if you go to a command line in DOS, for example, and type "cd \.." then it will take you up one level in the subdirectory path... if you type "cd \." it will take you to the root path.

Check you have authorizations for file access. Refer to your basis consultant.
