Adapt UI not reflecting in SAP GUI Transaction

Hi Experts,

I added some custom Fields in app 'WBS Element Overview' using Adapt UI in our Dev System client 100.

After publishing to a customizing TR, I performed SCC1 to copy the ui adaptations to client 200.

As seen below, the fields were reflected in the application, client 200

Now, I wanted these fields to be present in transaction CJ20N as well, but they are not automatically reflected.

There should be a new tab 'Custom Fields' where we can find the new fields added thru Adapt UI. Is there another step needed to make sure this is reflected in SAP GUI transactions?

Thanks,

Freddie

It's two completely different applications, the changes cannot reflect automatically, you must change both, in different ways.

I think that Adapt UI just adapts Fiori UI, so I guess that you must change ABAP applications the old way.

Note that classic Dynpro screens should be abandoned if you use Fiori, unless you have very good reason to maintain both.

Hello Freddie Oliva,

similar to Fiori UIs you need to enable the relevant custom field for SAP GUI applications via app "Custom Fields".
Precondition is that the relevant application make their SAP GUI transaction extensible.

From your description it seems you created a custom field for Business Context "WBS Element Details", so you need to enable it for SAP GUI (Context) "WBS Element Details GUI".

Otherwise I recommend to open a Case for SAP.
