Accessing Oracle Tables using ABAP

Dear All,

We are using SAP ECC 6.0, we need to access some of the tables in oracle system using ABAP program. Is there any wany to access the oracle tables.

Please suggest and do the needful.

Hi,

I didn't get your question, in SAP you have a data base which could be ORACLE in your case, so you can access these tables in SAP using SE16 or SELECt statements in ABAP.

Put your oracle select query in between EXEC... ENDEXEC statement.

Hi chandrasekhar,

1. For this you will have to use the concept of

native sql.

(Pls see F1 help on EXEC statement)

2. Basically, the sql will come between EXEC and ENDEXEC statement.

U can also use RFCs.

RFC provide the logic to update the data in SAP DB.

RFC reads data from oracle by mapping sap fields and oracle fields.
