Firefox 49 Rapid Release Cycle (RRC) is out on September 20, 2016 and available for download. The browser has improved performance on Windows and OS X systems without hardware acceleration; updated Firefox Login Manager to allow HTTPS pages to use saved HTTP logins; added features to Reader Mode. It is available for download from here.

In this release Firefox for Mac support for OS X 10.6, 10.7, and 10.8. was ended and Firefox Hello was removed (more details are in release notes).

Browser qualification tests were completed by NetWeaver Test Center for NW 7.40 SP15, NW 7.31 SP19, NW 7.30 SP16, NW 7.11 SP15, NW 7.02 SP18, NW 7.00 SP33.

The tests were done for the following technology areas: PLS, WD ABAP, WD Java, NWBC, ACF, FPM ,CRM Web UI, EP, Adobe Forms for the operating systems Windows 10 (desktop), 8.1 64 bit (desktop), 7 64 bit and OS X 10.11.

Suite Test Center successfully completed browser qualification tests for S/4HANA Project Services Edition 1608 in the following areas: Procurement of direct products, FIN and Project based services for the operating systems Windows 7, 8.1 and 10,  OS X.10.10 and Android (on tablet and phone devices).

Smoke tests for Suite browser qualification were done in ERP, SRM, CRM, Food, Social Services, Higher Education, Utilities, Retail, Automotive, Travel & Logistics areas.

Testing landscape  includes BS7i2015 on NW 7.4 SP3 and operation systems OS X 10.10 and Windows 7, 8.1 (desktop & touchscreen) and 10 (desktop & touchscreen).
