I have come across a tricky requirement and wonder if anyone here can suggest a possible solution.
Under certain circumstances, in transactions XD02 and VD02, the "General Data" should be completely disabled and all fields should be display only. At the same time, the other tabs such as "Sales Data" should behave "normally" according to the customizing.
It should be mentioned that the customizing generally allows editing / changing these fields, as this is a prerequisite for importing IDOC's, but minor changes should be prohibited for the users.
Is this possible at all without system modifications? The available BadI's seem only control customer own Tabs. Does anyone have any ideas?
