What are KOTF tables in SAP and when entries are made in these tables?

Why KOTF tables are created for condition tables and when they are created and when entries are done in these tables.

Please Help me in understanding this.

KOTF002                        Customer/Sales Org./Dist.Channel/Division

KOTF003                        SD Document/Item

KOTF004                        Service No./Plant/PurchOrg/Vendor/Package Number/Line Number

KOTF005                        Search Term

KOTF006                        Tax exemption license number

KOTF290                        IS-M: Condition Index for Book.Unit /Sales Org./Dist Channel

KOTF291                        IS-M/AM: CondIndex Service/Sales Org./Distribution Channel

KOTF293                        IS-M/AM: Condition Index for Agent Contract

KOTF294                        IS-M: Condition Index for Commission Key/Purchasing Org.

KOTF296                        IS-M: Condition Index for Publication/BBU/Sales Org.

KOTF297                        IS-M: Condition Index for Publication/Combined BU/Sales Org

Check the T-code VBO1 - ( Create Rebate Agreement ) for creating entries in these tables.

Hi,

The condition record data is saved in KONV table with condition record number, then why do we make entries in these tables,also where and why data of these tables is used.
