Unable to Rename Apps in SAP Build Apps - Free Edition

Issue Description: I can no longer find the option to rename an application in SAP Build Apps. I believe this functionality has either been moved or removed.

I am referring to renaming the app inside SAP Build Apps, not the name used during deployment.

Context: When I copy an app, the name automatically changes to "[previous_name] Copy". However, I am unable to modify the name afterward.

Request for Clarification: Has the option been moved to another section, or has it been removed entirely? If anyone knows how to rename an app, please share the steps.

@Dan_Wroblewski, could you confirm if this functionality has changed or do you know someone who might?

Hi, I also noticed that it is no longer possible to rename the project in the free edition, I hope it has been modified but not removed, I await reply, tks

I tried using the Developer Tools to see what APIs are used to rename the project, but could not replicate on free edition. I think you have one shot to come up with a good name, but I will check if there is a way.

What you can sort of do is download your project, then create a new project via import. The project in your "lobby" will now have the new name:

But strangely, the name after opening i will have the same name:

This way also worked in the past now it doesn't work anymore! I tried to download the project and import it assigning a new name, immediately after the creation the name seems to be updated, but at the first modification and saving, exiting the project it always goes back to being the original as in the attached screenshot.

(I tried several times also changing browser from chrome to firefox deleting all cookies)

i can comfirm this the new name automatically return to the backed up app and you will get 2 apps with the same name.

After a tiresome search all over the internet (or at least as far as I could find), I came to the conclusion that the only way to rename it is to actually download a copy of the app (exporting it from the home page) and create a new one by importing that copy. I had to rename the local file to the name I wanted and also define the same new name when creating the new app. That was the only way it worked.

It's a shame there isn't an option as basic as this.
