Sub: To hide/mask field from table data view in transaction SE11/12/16

We have created a table and maintained a TMG also.

For TMG we have t code level check and not allowing all users to view the data bcz table data is confidential.

But we have another issue here, where those who have access to SE11/12/16 table view access, can view this table data.

Need solution to hide or mask these particular field at table view data. Please help us, how to go ahead.

There are also authorization objects for SE16/SE16n transactions (but those should not be allowed for most users, ask the Finance Director or the Director of Human Resources)

Look for authorization objects :

• S_TABU_DIS : authorization for the authorization group of the table.
• S_TABU_NAM controls the access to the level of the table name

Hi Jyotsna,

As your SAP Security team, they give you the Authorization Group, which is Highly sensitive..

Once you assign the respective authorization group given by Security to the TMG. Then one may need special access to view the data

Otherwise. If there is no access then you would get the below standard message..
