Spool Output of ALV is just showing the 'Records Processed' on Executing in Background

Dear Experts,

I am executing a program in background which will display an ALV report, But currently I dont get the ALV output in the SPOOL, I am just getting the Records processed as the spool output instead of the actual ALV.

Is this some Standard Report? If so, you should check if your Toolbar provides some buttons to show the results in a "Non-Graphical" way. In some of the programs (for example in IS-Utilities) you then get a detailed output ...

I suggest you to check inside the job log of the batch you created (transaction SMX or menu System > Own Jobs): probably the ALV report you see in foreground execution is a table or a file written outside of standard spool request environment.

Just to be certain - how many pages does the Spool have - 1 or more..?

Or you would get the same results if you chose to print just first page. Or there could be two separate spools. Or 1001 other reason. Who knows what transpired there... Kindly do some troubleshooting in your system (including checking with the colleagues locally) and provide more details if there is still a question.
