Source of KNA1-ORT01 field

Hi Experts,

In few cases, the city what we maintained in customer master general data is appended with # symbol in KNA1-ORT01field.

I checked in ADRC table using the address number. There City1 field is populated without #.

Can anyone explain me the logic in which the data entered in the customer master is getting populated to KNA1 table?

KNA1-ORT01: the values there have no direct relation to ADRC - Once (I think as of releases up to 3.1I or maybe 4.0) there was no such thing as central address management, so KNA1 held the only data. But both tables are no longer synchronized.

Only when creating a new customer is a link available: KNA1 - KNA1VV - ADRC.

So, those values could be very old. Adjust them using tx. XD99.
