/SAPDMC/SAP_LSMW_IMPORT_TEXTS using LSMW

Hi Friends,

I am uploading Long texts for Routing at OPERATION using LSMW of method 0001 of program /SAPDMC/SAP_LSMW_IMPORT_TEXTS

direct input programme. After the last step it is showing LONG TEXTS are transfered. But actually they are not found in the transaction as well as indicator for long texts is not checked. When i checked with FM READ_TEXT by giving inputs of TEXTID, OBJECT, NAME, LANGUAGE, It is showing the TEXTLINE what i transferred through FLAT FILE.

Can you get me the solution for this....

Have you define the language in the LSMW?

If not, go to the LSMW mapping section, complete the language field and run the conversión again.

Are you sure the OBJECT that you are using in your LSMW is the same that is in the transaction that you are using?

Please, tell me the OBJECT and the transaction.

Yes i am using the related object only.

Object 0001 Long texts

Method 0001 (No selection)

Program Name /SAPDMC/SAP_LSMW_IMPORT_TEXTS

Program Type D Direct Input

for transaction CA01, ROUTINGS.

Hello Sivaram,

I am having the exact same problem. I am loading texts for Routings using the std. load in LSMW. Table STXH updates but I can't see the data in the Routing (CA03).

I am also having the same problem.

I am uploading Purchase Order Text using LSMW..

Object: 0001

Method: 0001

Program: /SAPDMC/SAP_LSMW_IMPORT_TEXTS

Type:D

in LSMW,

Object: 'MATERIAL',

TextID: 'BEST'

Name: {material code}

Language key: 'E'

I have followed instructions given here:

My LSMW runs without error:

Long Texts in Total: 20

Successfully Transferred Long Texts: 20

Non-Transferred Long Texts: 0

But, when I check in the master, text is not updated..

I also tried running the program: /SAPDMC/SAP_LSMW_SXDA_TEXTS

But to no avail..

Can anybody help?

Hi

I had similar issue with vendor master long texts. Then i found that issue was with the leading 0's in the text name.
