RF and SAP console

Hello...

Im new to RFprogramming, can any one help me and tell

the setup how we go about..

I have installed the telnet server and SAP console in R3..

did some config stuff for RF menu.. now the client is not happy with the standard RF and want to add new screen for all the

transaction in WM !!!!!!!!!!

My concern is how we integrate the custom transactions

in the RF menu.. how we test the custom transaction in console... can we enhance the standard RF screens...

I would appreciate if anyone can help me find the docs for RF

Hi

Even I am working on the same issue.

there are many exits to customize the screens of standard RF txns.

u can use them.

what we did is called a custom transaction from the exit and developed our custom screens.

that is working good.

Is it like we can add new fileds in the standard RF transaction thru user exits or we have design the screens from the scratch..

Hello All...

My client is implementing RF , I have created profiles queues

in MOB.. we installed sap console..

we are using motoroal MC3090 device.. how can we know what resolution this device support either 840 or 1620...

If we create any custom transaction we include the tcode in RF menu managament .my concern is

does the device always show the LMOO transation and would be the logon screen from there we can navigate to diff trans??

How do we call the RF screen from handheld.. how is the link

established frm console to handheld..

Hello Manohar,

Many years ago, there had been published a very good document in respect to programming RF applications by Bettina Sauer from SAP AG with LES RF (sap console). Unfortunately, this paper can't be found anywhere in the sdn world.

In that time, it was a little bit tricky when you had to implement some new own transactions to the system.
