I have a requirement to create a report in which (among other fields) the creation date of a transport request needs to be shown. This report is needed for audit and approval requirements. For this I created a CDS view with the transport request as key. I understand from other discussions that the creation date is stored in E070CREATE but is deleted there once the transport is released. I found out that the creation date is (permanently) stored on the application server in directory /usr/sap/trans/actlog. What is the best way to tackle this requirement? The only solution I see is creating a new custom z program and z tabel reading from the AL11 AS directory and then reading from this tabel in my CDS view but this seems to be cumbersome and quite some work for a single field. Can anyone help?
