Official CDS view for usage in custom CDS?

Dose SAP provide official CDS views interfaces for usage in custom CDS views?

I don't want to directly access the SAP tables, instead I want to use a CDS view which is declared as stable. I'm basically looking for an equivalent to the good old bapis.

Hi Sascha,

yes, there are a lot of CDS views you can use.You can check it per table in SE11 -> Where Used List.

Then you can check if the standard view fits to your requirements. For example Table MARA is used in CDS View I_MATERIAL.

thanks for your reply with the tip on how to find cds views. I didn't know this one 🙂

I looked into this in eclipse and I found that a lot of these cds views are not officially released. I'm not sure if its okay to use those for solutions that need to pass a premium qualification. I'll try to sort this out with the responsible contact person from the pq team. Probably we wrap those in a custom cds view so that we can change it easily.
