Hi,

I have created my own excel template as per my requirement in tcode SMW0.

I have used the function module DOWNLOAD_WEB_OBJECT for download template

and SHOW_WEB_OBJECT for open template. I am unable to open the template, its showing Information message as "No application has been defined , maintain the settings". where should i maintain these? is it in Tcode SMW0? then How?Please help me.

Call transaction SMW0, and in the menu navigate to 'Settings', 'Assign MIME Editor'

Is Excel installed on your local PC? Is Excel also the default application for opening templates with the current Excel file extension?
