Need to add a custom segment to a released Z IDOC type ?

Hi All,

I want to add a new custom segment to a Custom IDOC type which is released in 620 release ver.

Now we are in 750release ver. Before posting I checked many discussions where suggested to do changes in

EDBAS Table & EDISDEF Table for WE30 and WE31 respectively.

Please suggest a better way to do this.
