Need the steps to handle Error

Hi,

I have to build Abap application and i want to take care for errors and exception ,

What are the steps i have to consider? from create error message until create Applications Logs .

You can do the following:

1. Error / warning messages.

2. Write the errors within an ALV report (it'll be written into the spool in batch mode).

3. Send errors list by email within an excel file.

4. Write to a Z-table that will be the basic table for reporing.

All is very easy with Abap source code.

Do u now if the FM BALW_BAPIRETURN_GET2 write the Errors in some tables?

And how it relat to Application LOG,i read the help but i not really get the idea.
