after app is build and in test flight mode, I have seen that the name of the app is incorrect on iOS when it is downloaded to my iphone. it shows 'SAPBuildsApps'. it is the same when I download the app on MacOS with M1 (can use the iphone app).
I checked the build settings and the app name is shown correctly (and different from SAPBuildApps).
Please check, thank you

the name of the app is different from the field of the name for the build. when I download on MacOS, in the application folder the app is shown as SAP Build apps.app instead of the usual name. Same problem on iOS for testflight version. the app number is 72300. This is a new problem appearing since Mar 2, 2025 it seems
dear Dan, could you please check @Dan_Wroblewski

It is even weirder. on MacOS, I remove the app ( it appeared as SAP Build Apps.app instead of the correct name). I redownloaded from testflight. at the beginning, the file is with the correct name
意大利的酒窝 Vini d'Italia.app
then when download is about 60% completed, the name is suddenly changed to
SAP Build Apps.app
Thank you for checking

I upload in attachment
1.under MacOS M2 chip (which can use the ios apps) the screenshots of the video I made ( you will find the begin screenshot and end screenshot as I cannot upload videos), when the app file is being downloaded from Tesflight in the application folder, starting with at the beginning the normal name of the app ''意大利的酒窝 Vini d'Italia.app', then suddenly and stealthily transforming itself by changing its name from '意大利的酒窝 Vini d'Italia.app' to 'SAP Build Apps.app' at the completion of the donwload. So weird!
I made a test today, copied the app and made a new build from the copy with all the parameters of the build being reinput and problem is still the same.
Thank you for checking this weird problem.

Hi,
We were able to pinpoint the problem to the single quote in the name. We'll look to fix the issue. In the meantime, as a temporary workaround, you can drop or replace the single quote in d'Italia to avoid the fallback naming.

Dear Pekka,
Glad to see the progress!
The issue is that the app is already on the appstore since two years and that is the name of the app so I cannot change it. Hope you can fix the issue asap, thank you!
Interesting to understand why this problem happened while before there was no problem.
Best regards,
Chantal
