Issue when the PDF files are sent to the printer directly.

The PDF file is generated and i can see the data in the spool request as well, but when they are sent to the printer they print multiple pages with special characters. Is there is any settings to be made to the printer to print PDF files.

I can't see what you have in your system.

  1. Is that a PDF from ADS or a PDF preview from a SAPScript form or from Smart Forms?
  2. What is your printer configuration and your print configuration in SAP?
  3. What special characters do you see?

yes its a PDF from ADS, the file is retreived from the application server and pushed to a printer to print directly.
