Inbound Email address

Dear All

We have configured the inbound processing in SCOT. The users are created appropriately. Example i used my userid as one of them to receive emails. In SU01 - the email address are maintained. (for example my userid is V90923 ) The email address set in SU01 is like (venkat@devserverid.mycompany.com) .

Now, for sending mail from outside sat outlook or google, what should be the send to address ?

is that V90923@devserverid.mycompany.com or venkat@devserverid.mycompany.com

Kindly help, to understand the gap I have.

If I sent a mail to any of these above : I got return email saying 550 error

550 Verification failed for "<my external gmail email address>" No Such User Here" Sender verify failed

Use the email address you have defined for your user, not the SAP user.

Did the administrators of your company route the emails to your SAP server?
