HR ABAP

Hi

i am HR consultant, but i have got lil bit abap experience. could some tell why do we need programming, in HR, as we have sap queries, where we can generate reports.(with help of logical database).i ahve gone thru some Doc's about HR ABAp, but i am not able to understand where were the LDBS tables used in the below mentioned code.

Inspite of standard functionality, we cannot rule out the need for custom requirements.

LDB tables will be used with "GET tab name" or "GET tab name LATE" commands.
