How to Make a Button Disable on Menu Bar

I want to make a button disable on menu bar (not application toolbar), but do not want to remove it. What should I do?

In 'menu painter' SE41 menu, navigate to: Goto, Attributes, Pushbutton Assignment and change option for display of inactive functions from 'Hide All' to 'Display All' (or 'Function Selection')

Hello Raymond,

Thank you for your help. I tried your way. But it seems that it is only effective for buttons on application toolbar. But for buttons on menu bar, it is not effective.
