I got a requirement to add a option to a SAP query to download it in XML format. is this possible?

  1. You can display the query in ALV grid
  2. SAP provided a class to wrap ALV grid prevent display and and get displayed data in an internal table
  3. Most abapers know how to convert an internal table to xml

So answer is yes you can, just do it.

Hi,

maybe you can create a odata service for your query? The normal SGEW services provide the results also in XML.
