How to create Zappend in standard table

Hi all,

i need to add 2 fields in MARA Table, so i need to create one ZAPPEND and add these two fileds in that structure.

can any one please tell me what is the procedure to follow to create the ZAPPEND i.e., steps to create an ZAPPEND and how to update the fields, do we need to update any transaction to update the data.

please help me to with steps for creation of Zappend and how to update the data.

Hi,

You can extend a standard table by adding the Append structure psuh button in the table display.

There you need to delcare the fields which all are you needed. Once you activate that then new fields will be in your data base table.

In this case table MARA is the header part and its stores mainly the header details of the material number that you can view froom MM02 or MM03 tcodes.

MM01 tcode is for creation of the material.

Then updating the values for these fields depends upon on the functionality .

One thing you can have these fields in the MM01,MM02,MM03 t-codes as another tab strip.

For this you can get the document from SAPtechnical dot com.

Any way please be sure how are you going to update these new fields in the MARA table.
