How do I put the Shelf Live Expiration/Best Before Date on my invoice?

Is it possible to include the SLED/BBD on the invoice?

EDIT: I was able to identify the MSEG-VFDAT(I'm not sure what is the term) is SLED/BBD.

1. In able to include it into the invoice, do I have to edit the invoice and put &MSEG-VFDAT&?

2. Do I have to include MSEG in the tables in ABAP, right?

Hi, Justin

do you mean to include SLED/BBD on the invoice print out ?

if yes you can get it from the sales order it should be maintained /entered while creating the sales order (Batch)

Thanks

Yes. Apologies as I'm a beginner in ABAP and haven't had training. Do you know how to include SLED/BBD on the invoice? Thanks

This isn't the only solution, nor, imho, the best one.
I'd rely, instead, on the batches delivered, so i'd check the deliveries' items to retrieve them.

first, if you have to find the data (do you know how ?)

second , where do you want to put them ? in the screen of the invoice ? header, items ?

@Frederic Girod not sure but I think I can find it using MSC3N. I have an invoice template and I would like it to be included there among the text elements

Hello,

First of all, you have to be sure about the requirement you are dealing with.

SLED/BBD is spawned across a bunch of tables, everyone with its own meaning.

What have you to do? Which SLED/BBD have you to print? The one related to the batches sent to the customer?

Pay attention about using MSEG data: you can have reversed movements so you have to take care about that.

Perform some check in your system between MCHA-VFDAT and MSEG-VFDAT, MCHA batch data is better IMHO, with MSEG you have to find the best movement (usually the receipt of the batch) MCHA is direct read from delivery information.
