you have to transport the request for your new program.Once the request is released the program is available in production

Hi,
create upload program using tcode se38
save this program in a package with request number
then u assign this program to a tcode using se93
then by using se10 ,give the main req num and ask
basis consultants to transport ur req to prdn
then u can run ur upload program in prodn
see that file is avilable on the system u r executing

hi Laxman,
I already replied in ur last post...
check that 1 too.
have u assigned a package to ur program ... if u have saved into Temp / local object then u can't release or upload in Production....
Steps To upload the prog. in production.
1.login into Prod.
2.use Tcode STMS and click on truck sign
3.refresh the screen and choose the prod. server
4.refresh the screen and choose the request u transport from development.
5. click on the truck in toolbar ( Single one) do not click on import all request.

The requirement is, how to upload the program directly in Production without doing any transport? Is there any function module available that can do the trick? Let me know if someone knows a way or have a program that can do this. Laxman, did you find a way?

Why would you want to do that?!
Sounds like you are asking for trouble...

it is not your work you release your task and your project manager will release the request and the BASIS people release that to next quality or production.
