Font of smartforms gets change while sending via mail.

Hello All,

I am sending smartform by email by converting smartform to PDF.
I am using 'CONVERT_OTF' function module for the same.
Problem is that when i check pdf in SOST tcode font style gets change automatically.
I am adding Images normal and SOST image.

Before Sending (Normal smartform)

After sending mail (Checking in SOST)

Request you all to help and give me solution in detail.

Hi,

First check the smartform preview in pdf.

If it is printing correctly or not. If it is printing correctly then check if you are passing correct device type to function module or not and psss correct device type.

As I check preview in PDF its printing correctly and I have checked device type is also perfect that is LP01 plz check below.

If you preview the Smart Form as PDF, instead of attaching to email, I guess that you can see the same problem, so the problem is only about conversion from Smart Form to PDF.

Lots of same questions have been asked about the converter. The issue concerns the substitution of fonts, because PDF provides only few fonts, others must be embedded in each PDF. There is some configuration required, some SAP notes, and so on. It also depends on your backend version.
