EDI-OUTBOUND(CREATING CONTRACT)

hi ,

i am trying to create an contract through transaction VA41 and my output type is not proposed automatically .i have made all the neccessary configurations.i have created condition records in NACE.but when i manually create the ouput type it is accepted and idoc is created.

what may be the reason for not automatic proposal of this output type ?

Hi,

output type will be automatically proposed only when the condition record is fulfilled.

This means, when you create contract using va41 transaction, make sure you have filled the values to all the fields that defined in condition record.

hi naga,

yes what u said is correct.i have filled all the values as what u said.but still then it is not created.what may be the reason.do we have any other transaction code for configurations towards contract.

Murali,

You can test it like this:

Go to VA42 (contract Change) transaction and do some minor changes and from menu select as following

Extra -> output type ->

select head or item then

see processing log or further data

this tabs will show you whether the condition record is fecthed or not.

This is oneway of analsying about condition record is accessed or not?

This may help you in identifing the problem.
