I have no S-id

Eclipse ADT Domain Texts show in German DE
though logon language as well as default is EN
Works fine in SAPGUI SE11
Looks like a conflict between ORIGINAL LANGUAGE and LOGON Language
ONLY for Eclipse but not SAPGUI

SAPGUI shows English

Google Search had no answer
Is there some setting?

Are the translations available at all? What happens with a GUI login?

Eclipse ADT has good parts but sadly lots of bad parts.
Have been using intensively for last 1 year.
SE11 and SE24 beat ADT by miles.
If you open any table say MARA or class like CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES
in ADT you do not see the integrated view replete with "descriptions".
ADT's integrated Java SAP GUI should allow smooth use of SE11 SE24 till the ADT view is as great.
I like ADT tabbed views and multiple sessions and favourite packages features.
But find compulsion to use a skinny interface distressing.

I have the same issue.

But anyways I'm still using SE11 for DDIC stuff.

Me Too. I was advised by friends to use ADT for everything.
There is a lots of goodness but
the feature where I invoke SAPGUI and try SE11 or SE24
and get returned to a skeleton eclipsed code display is very irksome.
Till SAP gets their ADT ACT right they should allow user freedom of choice!
The truth thus is I still need SAPGUI Windows ....

Nothing to do with Eclipse ADT
Never mentioned SAPGUI on Windows showing anything wrong.
SAPGUI tried and tested since 2004(when I started) is glitch free.
It is Eclipse ADT that compels SE11 SE24 jump back without the functionality users need!
Try SE11 MARA and SE24 CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES

Hi Jayanta,

The language handling of texts might be confusing compared to SAP GUI. However, the language handling in ADT is different than in SAP GUI where the texts are always maintained in the objects original language. Unfortunately in the domain editor this is not highlighted by a warning like in the properties view or data element field labels.

Data Element Editor, Field Labels:

Properties View:

We take this as a suggestion for improvement.

Best Regards,
Tosha

Thanks!
Please also consider not forcing back a jump to barebones ADT from the rich SE11 SE24 views.
Programming is more about text and comments than syntax.
For large SAP Classes like CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES or Table like EKKO
so much easier to comprehend in old style.
Why not give user the choice!

Thanks again
