ECATT not showing the Role Field for mapping

Hi All

I am trying to create a ECATT Script for assigning roles to users.But when I check in simulator there is no field appearing for me to map the Role name field .

Please find the screenshot attached and help me to resolve this issue.

Hi Pradeep,

Could you please check if the Role name field is existing in the actual screen.

Also please check SPRO transaction ,whether  the role name is customized so that its visible.

Yes in actual screen the Role field was there.Also the screen has not been customized in SPRO.

If i understand your problem right you were able to record the field as it was visible during the recording but when you replayed the script the filed is not visible . Am i Right ?

Yes I was able to record the screen but when I ran Simulator  I don't see the Role field in the Role tab.I can see only the reference user  field.

can you run the script in foreground mode and check if the field appears. Which driver are using to record TCD or SAPGUI.

Few objects are not recognized by TCD try recording using SAPGUI mode and run the script.

Which version of SAPGUI are you using ? If you are using older version of SAPGUI try upgrading your SAPGUI version to the latest.

It's not running in foreground.I also checked I am getting a extra tab called system which is strange seems it's a bug which needs to be reported to SAP.

Can you try using SAPGUI driver for recording ?

Hello Pradeep,

I guess your landscape must be containing a CUA system, from which you need to assign the roles.

If your landscape contains a CUA, you will getting an extra column for System while assigning roles.
