Distribution model for MATMAS is not showing WERKS Description in BD64 Filter

We have created a distribution model for MATMAS and trying to add PLANT(WERKS) .

But while adding PLANT as a filter instead it is showing WERKS in BD64.

And this issue is only there in Quality not in dev .

Not able find the reason even though I searched in SDN.

Can anyone please tell what could be the reason for this issue .

Did you add data element WERKS or WERKS_D ?

Do you mean whether we have WERKS/ WERKS_D in BD59?

we have WERKS in BD59 as shown below and it is same in DEV & Quality.

Please let me know if my understanding is not correct as you asked .

WERKS is a structure

WERKS_D is a data element for the plant

maybe change it 😉

You are right WERKS is structure and WERKS_D is data element .

But I think BD59 config for MATMAS by default has WERKS as shown above

But only in quality this environment instead of PLANT it is coming WERKS . In Dev envirment is coming as PLANT.

It is very strange for me that same config behaving differently in Dev and Quality .

Can you please suggest what could be the issue .

Probably, if the translation doesn't exist, the field name is displayed. Did you check the languages installed? Did you check the translations for WERKS_D? Did you reset the Language buffer in memory? Did you try to log in both in English and in another installed language?

I checked the description is coming as PLANT for WERKS in BD59. No issue with the language / description .

Only at the Distribution model Filter level strangely it is coming WERKS instead of PLANT.

Not sure why ?

One more issue if I am trying also to add WERKS as filter , it is giving below error saying "Inconsistency in filter"

Not sure what is the issue . Looks like standard sap issue .

I think I found issue , the above error is because WERKS is not available in BD95 in Quality .

I will make the change and confirm .
